So just a quick video showcase of wat kind of damage explosive trap is putting out, this is not a build guide since this is not an allround character and is only really for one shotting bosses, You can still play explosive trap like that but you should build it differently (more aoe/trap throwing speed) and more tankyness (cap suppress, max res (shield,leadership price brass dome etc) , use shield, grace aura) this are just examples.

FAQ:

1. Your gear is insane do i really need that much damage?
- No my gear is overkill and i been 1shotting bosses way before all this gear but getting giga damage is fun and helps for 6 man carries/ big tanky mod combinations etc.

2. Why do u use cursed ground and arcanist brand?
- you can just use both curses on arcanist brand for longer fights/ease, but for your prestack arcanist brand wont cast them both fast enough thats why i have 1 linked to cursed ground.

3. My es recharge isnt enough so i cant throw traps.
- You can either use a shield with Es or get armour/Es bases for boots and gloves and some ES on belt/abyss jewel, simplying increasing your total es will make you sustain really easy.

4. I'm also farming Feared but sometimes cortex/chayula trash is hard.
- So for these u wanna swap in a Quartz flask for phasing and swift assembly to multi traps, u can also go further and swap zealotry for GRACE and you should be fine. Some uber cortex with insane mods can still feel not do-able but like i mentioned before you can build A lot more tanky and still have insane damage so consider that approach.

5. My damage is lacking
- So few things here, if you dont hit hard enough you wont have high Brittle so i advise for starting out getting a lot of 'Non-Damaging Ailments have increased effect' this will help u cap brittle/Scorch withouth having to hit like a truck. On top of this very important to check wat your crit chance is, in my setup i hit very hard so i can reach brittle cap on almost everything depending on mods. But it is a good idea to get Increased critical strike chance for spells also on gear since u might not have enough. Other than this Getting Crit multi on jewels is really important also and then just generic Spell Damage/ plus levels of gems on gear.

6.Why do u not use empower/ why do u convert to cold?
- So cold to fire is a bigger dmg multiplier than empower, for this reason we also convert the remaining 50% to cold first (gloves craft/skilltree) which then goes partly to fire and extra fire, we need cold damage still to inflict brittle and now its better to get phys as extra cold as we 'semi-doubledip' from the cold as extra fire. on top of this almost all our pen is global ele pen other than the fire exposure.

7. i wanna get even more damage
- so i stopped upgrading alrdy day 3-4 ish but you can go for even higher some small things i havnt done is:
- can link infernal legion to skitterbots (40 multi from asc, not reliable)
- unnerve on gloves (i got unlucky and stopped bothering)
- more multi/Hatred aura effect on weapons

now the further version of this build you can go lowlife with regen and use pain attunement and sustain righteous fire but i wouldnt advice this unles u have a mageblood since getting res and life regen withouth that is really hard. might try this later check my profile :)
