Pokémon Black 2/White 2 - Pokémon World Tournament Cup - vs Junior finalists (cpu version).
I got back into Pokémon time to time after AGDQ and some of my livestream sessions were Pokémon related, Pokémon White 2 to be exact.
So I've downloaded the DLC Tournaments based on the trainer finalists from the previous year's VGC 2012.
This video shows me going through the Junior Division, using an out of date team.
What do you mean out of date?
2 of the 4 monsters I've used were designed for the early days of B/W OU singles. Garchomp has Sand Veil and Infernape is Physical Mixed. These 2 lack the key move Protect.
The other 2 were designed for VGC 2011 which was nothing but Unova only Pkmn minus Mascot Legendaries and Event Legendaries (Zoroark is an event but not a legendary so that monster is allowed). It meant that Pkmn like Magnezone and Rhyperior are good checks to Thundurus's traditional BoltBeam (Hidden Power Ice and Thunderbolt) set.
Of course there's 2 other elements that doesn't fully follow a VGC match.
1) Before each battle, both trainers choose 4 out of the 6 to be used in battle.
2) The human is much more skillful and intelligent than the A.I as the CPU rarely uses Protect and sometimes uses the key moves on the wrong opponents.
