A new Mystery Gift event has come out, and it is live from February 27th till March 27th, and you can obtain Oak's Letter, which allows you to access Flower Paradise and find a Mythical Pokémon called Shaymin.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

To get Oak's Letter, you have to go into Mystery Gift, and it is an Internet distribution, you don't need a code or anything, and it is live until March 27th, this event was announced on the Pokémon Presents on Pokémon Day.
Once you have obtained Oak's Letter, you have to go through the National Dex area in Victory Road, which was where you went through with Marley back then, and then you go to Route 224, and where the white rock is, you will find Professor Oak. After a bit of dialogue, and choosing a phrase, Shaymin will appear, and a path is formed.
Then you go through Seabreak Path, which is just a very long path, I did read somewhere that it can be good for hatching Eggs, but it's not reliable, as you do have to go through Victory Road to access it in the first place. At the end of it is Flower Paradise, which is where Shaymin is at, this Mythical Pokémon is known as the Gratitude Pokémon, it is a Grass-type, and it is at Level 30. Shaymin has a catch rate of 45, but it does know some healing moves like Synthesis, and it can use Leech Seed as well. I would recommend having a Pokémon that knows False Swipe or have something at least Level 30 to weaken it a bit.
After catching Shaymin, you can talk to the woman at Floaroma Town if you have Shaymin in your party, and she will give you some Gracidea flowers.
I will go over Shaymin, the form that you encounter it in is called its Land Forme, which has base 100 in all of its stats, so it's like the Mew of this game. It has balanced stats, allowing it work either offensively or defensively, Land Forme Shaymin tend to be used more defensively, it can use moves like Giga Drain and Leech Seed, it does get some access to moves like Psychic and Dazzling Gleam for coverage. Shaymin can learn a move called Seed Flare, it learns this move at Level 100, it is a 120 Power Special Grass-type move that has a 40% chance of reducing the opponent's Special Defense by one stage, and it does get some nice support moves like Aromatherapy and Healing Wish.
When you use a Gracidea on Shaymin, it will change to its Sky Forme, that form was introduced in Platinum, it is a Grass/Flying-type in its Sky Forme, and it is the more offensive out of its two forms, it has a high Speed stat and a great Special Attack stat, and it has Serene Grace for its Ability. Shaymin learns Air Slash at Level 64 in Sky Forme, and it is the reason why Shaymin got banned to Ubers, because if you thought dealing with Togekiss's Air Slash was annoying, Shaymin has base 127 Speed, and it is likely to outspeed anything, and Air Slash has a 60% chance of flinching because of Serene Grace, and Seed Flare has an 80% chance of reducing the opponent's Special Defense when used.
As with level up move differences, Shaymin Land Forme learns Synthesis and Aromatherapy, while Shaymin Sky Forme learns Quick Attack, Air Slash, and Leaf Storm, and for some reason, Land Forme Shaymin learns Healing Wish twice in its level up movepool, it learns it at Level 46 and at Level 91. I did read that most of the Pokémon in this game use their level up moves in Sun & Moon, and the moves that weren't brought back were replaced by other moves, Shaymin would learn Natural Gift at Level 46, which is not in this game, and Shaymin was not in Sword & Shield.
In certain conditions, Shaymin will revert from its Sky Forme back to its Land Forme, the conditions are if it is nighttime, if Shaymin is frozen, and if it is placed in the PC, and if you were wondering, if Shaymin is frozen while in Sky Forme, it will change back to its Land Forme while in battle.
