Pokemon Compatability between different Region 3DSes...

So, something that incredibly surprised me was the fact that Pokemon games... are rather strange when it comes to game systems...
Pokemon Black and White (2) for example in English DOES work in a Japanese 3DS, however the Japanese versions of the game will NOT work in an English 3DS.
Well, remember how the 3DS is region locked for all 3DS games? Pokemon X and Y however are NOT region locked... the way every other 3DS game is region locked.
Whenever you put in a normal 3DS game into the opposite version, it is suppose to not be readable by the 3DS. Put in Pokemon X or Y though... and it DOES read the game, however the system will not be able to play it. So Nintendo met half way with that... and because of that... maybe... the Pokebank app WILL work still with a different language of Pokemon X and Y if downloaded.
The funny thing that I show near the end of this video though, something similar happened with Pokemon Dream Radar. Even though Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 in Japanese will NOT work in an English 3DS, if you have it in the game slot for Pokemon Dream Radar... it DOES still pick up the game and you CAN transfer the Pokemon and items you got in it.
Either way... Pokemon is a VERY weird game when it comes to Nintendo systems... not working but working...
