Pokémon Could LEARN from Digimon Games...🤔🕵🏾♂️
A few weeks back Pokémon revealed the next two entries into the franchise - Pokémon Legends Arceus and the Diamond & Pearl Remakes. With mixed feedback on the long awaited Generation 4 remakes, Pokémon Legends Arceus has the community a bit more interested.
It got me thinking as per usual. This is the first time they've finally decided to outsource a monumental piece in their line up, and at the surface it's already showing promise. While the shift to 3D for the series has been amazing, we've consistently seen other areas of the games deteriorate over time, and there's a trick the Digimon games have done which has prevented this type of thing from happening. Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl is one of the keys.
With the two series being so similar in various ways, I truly think if The Pokémon Company took notes and saw how Digimon handled some things, they would actually be able to get back to a better spot and win back fan's trust....but what do I know?
S/O to this video which helped me put my thoughts in order, especially because I'm a shill and have a hard time pinpointing what's been going wrong with Pokemon games LOL: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vvEwxENoy9I
