Pokemon Crystal - Arbitrary code execution: Programming a game from scratch!
This video shows the 'Snake' game being implemented in an actual Pokemon Crystal cartridge using arbitrary code execution exploits and other glitches found in the game.
The first part of the video is the demonstration, followed by a brief explanation of the whole process (begins at 5:04). As stated in the video, I was going to work on a more detailed document that was going to be available here once finished, and... it's already available here! - https://sites.google.com/site/crystalglitchystuff/articles/snake
Since that article covers the explanation in much greater detail than the second part of the video, you are encouraged to give it a read if you're interested! If you're looking for a lighter explanation without getting into the nitty-gritty of the process and the assembly routines though, you're also welcome to watch the second part of this video instead!
