Pokemon Crystal: Gym Battle VS Whitney

Here is an easy way to beat the Goldenrod City Gym Leader Whitney on Pokemon Crystal. (Same method can be used in Gold and Silver)
What you need:
1. Drowzee/Abra in your party (depends on the version you are playing: it was Abra for me
2. Go to 5th floor of Goldenrod Dept. Store. There is a kid in front of the counter who will trade you a Machop for your Drowzee/Abra (the Machop will be holding a Gold Berry and be the same level as the Pokemon you are trading him. And a good thing: IT WILL BE FEMALE 90% OF THE TIME!)
*I tried this 10 times and only once got a male
3. Take that Machop into the Gym. Use Machop ONLY on every trainer. Easy Exp gain since it is a traded Pokemon. It should know Low Kick Focus Energy and Karate Chop ((if it is LV 12 like mine was))
4. You should be LV 17-19 by the time you're done. Heal your Pokemon and come back. Save and if you aren't confident give your Machop the Gold Berry back just to be safe.
5. Battle! Her Clefairy should be easy. Next Miltank....She likes to use Attract first...right? Not if your Machop is Female! She will either use Stomp or Rollout first. Your best bet: Spam the hell out of Karate Chop! It has a high critical hit ratio. 2 to 3 hits oughta take it down.
