Pokémon Crystal Randomised Nuzlocke - #25 - The Final Test?
4Today we take on the Champion of Lance, but how difficult is that team of his?
NUZLOCKE RULES:
1. You may only catch one Pokémon per area/route, and if that Pokémon isn't caught, no other Pokémon may be caught in that area. This INCLUDES event/static encounters such as Sudowoodo.
2. Any Pokémon that faints is considered dead and must be released or permanently boxed. As this is a ROM, I will be releasing mine.
3. All Pokémon caught/received must be nicknamed.
ADDITIONAL RULES:
1. Dupes Clause - While this is unlikely to be encountered during a randomised playthrough, if a Pokémon has already been caught, it won't count as a first encounter elsewhere (this also includes the whole evolutionary line), for example, if a Rattata is found on one route, it and Raticate will not be counted as first encounters anywhere else.
2. Shiny Clause - If a Pokémon at any point is encountered as a shiny, I am able to catch it, provided the Pokémon first caught on that route is released.
3. Odd Egg - A personal rule I have placed into this LP is that when I receive the Odd Egg, I will be soft resetting it for it to be shiny (as it has a 14% chance of being Shiny). As soon as it is Shiny, I will keep it as the first encounter, but obviously this must be in an area that has not had a previous encounter.
