Part 6 of an ongoing series of Co-Op Nuzlocke Challenges of Pokemon Games ~ This is Pokemon Emerald live with Rathe_V_Mourille

Every week, Rathe_V_Mourille and myself both broadcast this co-op Nuzlocke challenge, using the Soul Link ruleset.

** What are the rules of the Nuzlocke Challenge? **~ It's essentially a hard-mode challenge, in which the below rules are followed:

1. Any Pokémon that faints is considered dead, and must be released into the wild or put in the Pokémon Storage System permanently.
2. The player may only catch the first wild Pokémon encountered in each area, and none else. If the first wild Pokémon encountered faints or flees, there are no second chances.
3. The rules of the Nuzlocke Challenge do NOT begin until the player receives Pokeballs~

4. Soul Link adds a co-op challenge, by both players linking the souls of their individual route encounters. If something happens to one (i.e. death or getting boxed for later), its linked Soul Partner must suffer the same fate~ Making it quite the challenge!

What we've done to randomize the game is randomize the following:

~ Random Pokemon Abilities
~ Random Starter, Trainer, Gift & Wild Pokemon
~ Random Held Items (for Traded Pokemon also) / Random Field Items
~ Random Movesets (with move-type preferring Pokemon type)
~ Random TM & HM Moves and Compatibility
