Pokemon Fire Red Omega - Unevolved Challenge: Giovanni # 1
8Rules:
- Only use unevolved Pokemon to beat the boss fights
- Don't use Pokemon that don't evolve at all such as Solrock, Snorlax, Mr. Mime, etc.
- You may only use one Pokemon of the same species.
Got a Porygon from someone in the game corner. I feel like I'm cheating using Porygon, as it used to be a no evolution Pokemon, but as Porygon 2 exists now, I guess it's okay. Ponyta actually has higher base stats anyway.
I've also got an Aron, who I could have gotten ages ago, but oh well. Good to have a Pokemon with high defence and a Steel type to take many types of damage well. Becomes especially helpful with Toxic.
Even wimpy Giovanni gets tough in Fire Red Omega. Most annoying of all is his Persian. It is very fast and has Limber, so you can't paralyze it, and it knows Hypnosis. It does very little damage to Geodude, though. (Damn it, I thought I said I wasn't going to use it after Lt. Surge. Why does Geodude have to be so helpful?)
Erika is an unbelievably big bitch, so I'm going to get a Gastly before facing her. This means I'll have to fight my Rival again next, then.
