Pokemon Fire Red Omega - Unevolved Challenge: Sabrina
10Rules:
- Only use unevolved Pokemon to beat the boss fights.
- Don't use Pokemon that don't evolve at all, such as Solrock, Snorlax, Mr. Mime, etc.
- You may only use one Pokemon of the same species.
Phew, what a relief. Sabrina is one of the fights I was dreading the most, I had one of the hardest times against her team with my evolved team in my first playthrough, but I probably had an easier time with this unevolved team! Just goes to show that strategy can be more important than power!
It took a while, though, so I put the battle in double speed. The biggest danger is any one of Sabrina's Pokemon using Calm Mind enough to easily sweep my team, but as long as I can paralyze her Pokemon, that shouldn't be too difficult to stop.
Jynx may have taken the longest to defeat, but she is probably the most helpful enemy here. Psycho Boost eventually turns its Special Attack to nothing, giving me time to heal my Pokemon. (Body Slam is annoying, though)
Alakazam isn't as useless as the Rival's. Annoyingly, its Psychic didn't quite OHKO Aron in a practice run, but it did in the first recording attempt. With Light Screen set up already though, paralyzing and eventually Destiny Bonding it is easy.
