Rules:
- Only use unevolved Pokemon to beat the boss fights
- Don't use Pokemon that don't evolve at all such as Solrock, Snorlax, Mr. Mime, etc.
- You may only use one Pokemon of the same species.

I used a Diglett for this fight. I thought a Geodude would be enough for Lt. Surge. I forgot just how dangerous he is in this version...

Things are getting very bad, and it's only the third gym leader! Expect most fights to go on for a long time from this point, but can I really help that with an unevolved team? While you can normally beat up his whole team with a Ground Pokemon, he doesn't normally have powerful special attacks, such as Flamethrower, Crunch and even Surf with his Raichu! He also has Thunder Wave with most of his Pokemon. If he just used Surf with Raichu instead of Focus Punch at one point, he would have won for sure!
