408NEW GIGANTAMAX Pokémon are here! Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise are making their Pokémon GO Gigantamax debuts in Max Battles! Pokémon GO suggests groups of 10 to 40 Pokémon Trainers is needed to defeat a Gigantamax Pokémon and I have been testing LIVE from Canberra, Australia!
Gigantamax Pokémon are Power Spot Bosses and any Trainer with at least one Dynamax or Gigantamax Pokémon in their battle party participate. It costs Max Particles to enter a Gigantamax batttle and Max Particles are only once you successfully take down the boss.
Each Gigantamax Pokémon species has a has a unique G-Max Move, which may not be the same type as its Fast Attack. Gigantamax Pokémon can learn up to three Max Moves: a unique attack, Max Spirit, and Max Guard. If all of your Pokémon faint while battling, you can still help! Tap the screen until you can cheer for your teammates, which will fill their meters faster.
