I watched that and really liked the idea so I wanted to do it with my very 1st Pokemon Gold playthrough from 2000. 21 years ago.
Back then I had Cyndaquil starter, and, for some reason, 3 Butterfrees. That is why it's the only team I can ever remember from my childhood. Why 3 Butterfrees? Who knows why, I was 7 years old.
I never finished that playthrough due to losing the cartridge midway through so I have incomplete knowledge on what the final team would have been so I will be using just those 4 and I know for a complete FACT I would have used the games legendary since I did that in 100% of the playthroughs I did up until end of gen 3.
I will use hm slaves only for the hms but not in battle except for fodder I will only use the main 4 and Ho-oh when it is gotten for the whole game so this will be a very interesting run imo lol.
