Pokemon Gold Nuzlocke part 1 - Vizzed.com GamePlay

Here are some of the basic rules I'm going off of. If I have to put some more in for anything else that comes up later in the game, I'll add it in the video that rule first is affected.
All basic Nuzlocke rules apply. IE, one Pokémon per area, after the Pokémon faints it is dead, it must go into the dead Pokémon box.
1. All Pokémon must have nicknames.
2. Dupe clause - I may not catch a Pokemon that I already have or had.
3. No Trainer Healing items may be used during battle, such as Potions, Antidotes, etc. However, held items, berries and restoration attacks are allowed.
4. Shiny Pokémon may be caught, even if it breaks the dupe clause or the one Poké per area rule. The red Gayados is an exception, and can only be caught if no other Pokémon have been caught in the area.
5. A slave can be used. If there's a part of the game that requires an HM, and no current Pokemon can learn it, a Pokémon may be caught to use it. It cannot be used in battle, even to be put in just to take a hit.
6. The Togepi that you acquire from the mystery egg may be used.
7. No in game trades may be used. Also, I can use the gift Spearow to get the TM, but he cannot be used in battle.
8. No using revives of any kind.
9. No legendaries. So no roaming Entei, Suicune, or Raikou, or any other legendaries.
10. And finally, I've decided that if I black out once, but still have Pokémon in the PC, I can continue through the game. But again, this can only happen once throughout the whole Nuzlocke.
