Pokemon Gold Wonderlocke Co Op Part 9 - WTF A SHINY!?! - Pokemon Wonderlocke Challenge
Pokemon Gold Wonderlocke Co Op is finally here! JustPlayPokemon and The4thGenGamer are here today to bring you a FIRST in Pokemon Gold--A full WONDERLOCKE of the game. Some people may be confused, as the Pokemon Wonderlocke format is usually reserved for 6th generation Pokemon Games, but RomHackerMateo was amazing and created a custom version of the game for us to play. He is amazing and you should follow him on Twitter (https://twitter.com/RomhackerMateo) and subscribe to him on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJtptY7C5zjWkIDr_WzYcQQ).
The Wonderlocke in Pokemon Gold works like this--at every Pokemon Center we can head upstairs to a lady on the second floor and swap out one of our Pokemon for a randomly generated
and level-appropriate Pokemon, just like in a Wonderlocke only it is computer-generated! This will make for an AMAZING playthrough and we are STOKED that you'll be able to enjoy it
along with us.

If you've never seen a Wonderlocke before, these are the rules:
POKEMON GOLD WONDERLOCKE RULES:
1. You must catch the first Pokémon you find in a new route. Failure to catch it results in a loss of a new partner!
2. The newly caught Pokémon MUST be WONDER TRADED (via the in-game wonder trade system at the nearest Pokemon Center). If you happen to get the same Pokémon as the one you traded, you may keep it (Hard-Mode players must trade again). If the Pokémon is one you've already captured (whether it be the same exact Pokémon, or its family/evolutionary line member), you must trade again.
3. All given Pokémon (like the starters, and event Pokemon) cannot be traded and are soul-bound.
4. (Like any other Nuzlocke challenge), when a Pokémon faints, you MUST release it. (EXCEPTION: You may put it in a "Dead" box to be able to go back any look at your previous members for a memorial service.)
Will we get crappy Pokemon or great ones in all the Wonder Trades? Find out in this episode!
