Pokemon Heart Gold - Rematch with Clair, Blackthorn City Gym Leader
9Status of my team so far: Rhydon Lv66, Tangrowth Lv66, Lapras Lv66,
Magneton Lv67, Typhlosion Lv67, Pidgeot Lv67The last of the Johto Gym
Leaders... Clair. A tough foe with a strong type to boot... dragons.She
has a Lv52 Dragonair, a Lv56 Gyarados, a Lv52 Aerodactyl, a Lv52
Charizard, a Lv56 Kingdra and a Lv60 Dragonite.Now she's starting to be
like her own cousin, the Johto Champion... this should be fun. Her
Dragonair and Dragonite can go down with Ice-attacks while Charizard
and Aerodactyl can go down with Rock-based attacks. Her Gyarados goes
down with Electric attacks but you need a strong Electric attack to
take it out because it has a Wacan Berry which weakens any
Electric-attack's power. As for her Kingdra, you can use Dragon-type
moves or use powerful attacks like Close Combat, Megahorn or Power Whip
to take it down. Watch out though, her Pokemon can strike back hard so
be prepared.To get Clair's number, you need to defeat her and Lance in
that team battle in the Dragon's Den first. Afterwards, she can be
found in the mornings at Dragon's Den. Afterwards, you can call her up
at Friday Night to arrange a rematch.That's all for the Johto
rematches. The Kanto rematches are next and they will be done in the
