This is the first part of my third segment. I fight my rival here. I named him '?' in honor of the GSC games and also for fun. In those days the Pokémon catching tutorial was optional, now it's required again. I battle only 1 trainer of the 4 in Route 30 and 31. The main reason is they take too much time for the little experience points they give. I split the video up right before entering Violet City.
