Pokemon Legends Arceus: Manaphy and Phione boss fight
0Here we have an optional boss fight as a part of the quest titled "the sea legend" you won't find much info on how to progress in game as the sea legend itself lies within pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
The legend tells of a sailor that earned the approval of a mantyke, buizel, and Qwilfish with long barbs passing through the giant horns under the evening sky to encounter the sea legend.
If you're struggling to evolve Qwilfish you need to use the strong style version of Barb Barrage roughly 20 times (rest in peace all the bidoof and starly I murdered)
after those preparations are done head to cobalt coast and sail through the horns with the right pokemon at the right time and that mysterious cave you couldn't do anything in before will now have something or.. 4 somethings to be precise as you will encounter Manaphy and 3 Phione.
Manaphy is deadly if you fight it during the main story and the Phione are nothing to sneeze at either.
You want to try and split them up because fighting all 4 at a time is suicidal.
Manaphy is also a pokemon with moves such as heart swap and tailglow in the main series. Here however it uses the moves water pulse, Zen Headbutt, bubble, and deadliest of all Moonblast.
If you catch it it has a new move known as Take Heart which heals itself of any status conditions and buffs both offense and defense.
