Part 1 of my Pokemon: Let's Go Eevee playthrough.

Alright... buckle in, boys and girls, and kick off those shoes. We're entering RPG territory which means we're going to be stuck here for a while.

I love the Pokémon franchise. It has been one of my favorite franchises since it first launched. Even when it fell out of style for a time during the 3rd gen, I kept on playing. Still, I tend to try and avoid playing Pokemon games on my channel.

Sure, I did a Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game, but man it still took a while. I try to avoid RPGs as there is just so much grinding involved. Paper Mario is thankfully more a streamlined RPG, so I can grind as I progress for the most part. But Pokemon does have its moments of hours of nothing but grinding.

For this series, there will be a lot of editing to try and get more to the point, something I don't really wanna do myself, but I will. Still involves just sitting there, making notes of where to trim, and playing back hours of video. Even if I try to skip ahead here and there, it still takes a long time for me to do.

By the time I hit Celadon City, you'll see things progress a bit quicker, I hope. I did a bunch of grinding off screen then, powered up my team massively, and will be able to just get to the point from then on.

So if you see the screen transition, I just simply did an edit and probably saved you anywhere from five minutes to an hour worth of pure grinding.
