During our fugitive adventure, we end up in a land of snow, and the next dungeon we enter is Frosty Forest. This area has some Ice-type Pokémon, as well as a few other types, but we find that something is up with the forest that is causing the snow to melt, and we come across another powerful opponent.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

The next dungeon is Frosty Forest, but we can check out Snow Path, where you can get some items and train up a bit if you are underleveled, as there is a powerful opponent at the end, and it is one of the hardest fights in the game, and you cannot even go back to Pokémon Square to stock up on items during that point in the game. Snow Path has Azurill, Nosepass, Furret, and Pineco, and the main dungeon has Furret, Azurill, Nosepass, Piloswine, Ditto, Mightyena, Lairon, and Snorunt, the dungeon itself has 9 floors, while Frosty Grotto has 4 floors, and only two Pokémon appear, those being Rhyhorn and Metang.
For Pokémon to watch out for, Furret has Fury Swipes, Snorunt and Piloswine have Powder Snow, which hits all Pokémon in the room, Lairon can use Iron Defense to make it harder to take down, and Ditto can be found, and it can Transform into a Pokémon on the same floor, but can only use Struggle. For Pokémon in Frosty Grotto, Rhyhorn knows Fury Attack, and Metang can take many hits due to its resistances to many types. Frosty Grotto has snow as the weather, this boosts the Movement Speed of Ice-type Pokémon.
At the end of the dungeon is a boss fight with Articuno, and this is a very difficult boss, Articuno has Powder Snow, which can hit all targets, and if you are using Cubone or a Grass-type, they have the hardest time with that fight, and Articuno can use Agility to boost its Movement Speed. Even if you are using a Fire-type, two of which get Smokescreen which can help, but this is still a very hard fight, if you have a good amount of Reviver Seeds, those can help out in the battle.
After the battle, we go through some more dialogue, and before Articuno could finish us off, because unlike Moltres who understood us, Articuno refuses to believe our story, and it took till Absol shows up that Articuno finally was able to be convinced and flys away, and we get a new teammate in Absol.
Then we make it to harsher lands of snow, and the player talks with Gardevoir about the summit where Ninetales is at, and we start Mt. Freeze, along with our new friend Absol. It learns Bite at Level 21, and for moves, it learns Swords Dance at Level 26, but Dark-type moves were special back then, and Absol does get some good TMs like Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Flamethrower, Shadow Ball, Iron Tail, Aerial Ace, it has a lot of options.
Then for Mt. Freeze, it has 15 floors while Mt. Freeze Peak has 4 floors, the 5th being the final floor. For Pokémon, you can find Pineco, Swablu, Shelgon, Pupitar, Seel, Vigoroth, Zangoose, Chimecho, Slaking, and Seviper, while the peak has Glalie as the only Pokémon, snow happens on floors 9 to 15.
For Pokémon to watch out for, Swablu has Sing and Fury Attack, Shelgon can hit hard with Headbutt, Pupitar has Screech to cut your Defense severely, Seel has Icy Wind to slow you down, Vigoroth has Uproar, this move makes it so that its teammates cannot fall asleep while under effect, and it knows Fury Swipes, Chimecho has Uproar as well, Zangoose is a tough opponent, it can use Swords Dance to increase its Attack, and it has Fury Cutter, which in this game has it attack twice. Slaking has a lot of HP, and it can inflict status with Encore and Yawn, but its Truant prevents it from attacking for a few turns if it uses a move, and Seviper also knows Screech to make it hit hard with Poison Tail and Bite. Then for Mt. Freeze Peak where you can only encounter Glalie, they have some attacks like Headbutt and Bite to inflict some damage, and they can use Powder Snow to hit everyone in the room, if Glalie use Double Team, this can reduce your chances of hitting them.
Then we make it all the way to the summit, but not without an encounter with Team ACT, who have chased us all this way, and we don't get a boss fight with them, instead Ninetales shows up and tells us about the legend, and reveals that the player is not the human from the legend, and it turned out that what Gengar said back at Pokémon Square turned out to not be true, and that he can tricked the Pokémon there. Then an earthquake happens, and Ninetales tells us that a very powerful Pokémon has awakened, and Alakazam and his team go to the underground to fight that Pokémon, as it is likely more powerful than any other Pokémon we have dealt with.
