Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky Playthrough 53: The Mastermind of Darkness
After preparing for our final showdown with Darkrai, who not only is behind the distortions of space, but he had attacked Temporal Tower and almost caused the planet's paralysis. We then set off to Dark Crater along with Cresselia so that we can stop this villain from creating a world of darkness.
As the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description.
Dark Crater, as well as the music for that dungeon, is intense. There are a lot of Fire type Pokémon, as well as Ground types in this dungeon. I recommend leveling up to about late 50s, because it will be tough, as the Pokémon at later floors are quite powerful, and you have to take Cresselia along with you. The Pokémon found in this dungeon are Charmander, Cyndaquil, Chimchar, Hippowdon, Numel, Slugma, Growlithe, Ponyta, Torchic, Charmeleon, Flareon, Combusken, Monferno, Camerupt, Rapidash, Arcanine, Quilava and Magcargo. Deep Dark Crater has some very powerful opponents to fight, like Rhyperior, Magmortar, Charizard, Typhlosion, Infernape, Torkoal, Mismagius, Blaziken and Aggron. In Explorers of Time & Darkness, two Legendary Pokémon can be found if you have a Secret Slab or Mystery Part, on the 6th floor of Dark Crater, you can find Mewtwo, who can only be found in Explorers of Darkness, and on the 10th floor of Deep Dark Crater, you can find Entei. At the final confrontation with Darkrai, and this is my second attempt, because on the first attempt, I got destroyed by Darkrai, because he had used Double Team and Ominous Wind many times, and I was out of Reviver Seeds. I find it interesting seeing Darkrai's legs, because this is one of the few times Darkrai is ever seen with legs, they were also seen in the Pokémon Movie "The Rise of Darkrai", as well as the Anime. Darkrai is not an easy fight, because not only do you team up with Cresselia, who is at a disadvantage against Darkrai, but you have to fight six other Pokémon, those are Magcargo, Rhyperior, Arbok, Mismagius, Magmortar and Aggron. I also like how he has Dusknoir's Battle theme, it does also go well with Darkrai. If you chose a Grass or Water type as your partner, they should be able to take out Rhyperior in one Energy Ball or Hydro Pump, and if you have a move like Thunderbolt or Blizzard, it should damage everyone. I would recommend throwing an X-Eye Seed, Sleep Seed or Stun Seed at Darkrai on the first turn, then focus on taking out the other Pokémon before taking on Darkrai. It has Ominous Wind and Double Team, which makes this fight very hard, and it can use Nightmare, and its Bad Dreams Ability damages sleeping opponents each turn.
