Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX - How to Recruit Shinys
The first part of the video shows methods to increase the recruit rate and the locations of the Friend Bow and False Swipe. The second part of the video shows you some Shiny encounters including a Shiny that actually joined me. A thing to note is, that only strong foes have a chance to appear as a shiny-pokémon. The chance is very high. Every 5th - 10th a strong foe should be a shiny. There are 6 ways to increase the recruitment probability.
- The lvl of you Pokémon
You get different recruitment bonuses for higher levels
- Friend Bow (Item equipped)
When this item is equipped, Pokémon you battle will be more likely to join you. It's also said that Shiny Pokémon will want to join you, too. It's only effective when the leader equipds it, though. It probably makes shiny recruiting even possible.
►Location: 00:01 Solar Cave
- False Swipe (Attack)
If you knock an enemy out with it, they will be more likely to join you.
►Location: 00:20 Remains Island
- Squad Up (Rare Quality)
The more members you have on your team, the more likely it is that Pokémon you battle against will want to be your friends.
- Friendly (Rare Quality)
Pokémon you battle against are more likely to become your friends.
- Inviting Orb (Item)
Using it will make it easier to befriend Pokémon you battled. The effect continues while you're on the floor used the orb on.
Friend Bow is probably the only necessary thing. The others things are usefull to boost the recruitment rate.
Don't forget to buy the corresponding camp and to do the final blow with the controlled Pokémon.
