Phase 02 ends at jaxia town, but there is more to do than just beat the gym. if you are at jaxia town make sure you find the west jachinist base by encountering the jashinists at the library, talking to spruce and finding the hidden entrance in Lakeview forest. make sure you've completed the lost children side quest, make sure you've beaten the first two fighters at the crimson dragon dojo in pickton city.

In terms of completion the game features 2 gym badges, but don't let that fool you. Your pokemon will likely be level 30ish by the time your done the second gym.
There are currently 3 towns, 5 routes (one being PicktonBW), a Forest, an evil team base, two underground areas that connect via Duffin Point, and tons of trainers and NPCs. There's also a pretty freaky side quest at the Police Station.
