Pokemon Radical Red v4.1 Normal Mode - vs. Gym Leader Sabrina
No time for Psyspam, Sabrina, check out this monkey.
Also what the fuck is that new Hatterene shiny?????
Also Sabrina got a new sprite, neat, it's based off her FRLG artwork, which honestly is the best she's ever looked.
Anyway, Grassy Surge Rillaboom or something else like Electric Surge Pincurchin screws up half of Sabrina's gameplan, especially when Indeedee-F goes down. Pincurchin in particular is very slow, making its terrain go second, and thus takes advantage of Trick Room too.
By this point you can also head into Fuchsia City (albeit with some hard trainers along the way) and into the Safari Zone, where you can grab Iron Moth, Iron Hands, Iron Thorns and especially the part Dark-type Iron Jugulis, who you can all pair with Pincurchin for a free Quark Drive boost. This is the only time I'm ever praising Iron Jugulis.
That said though, again, I didn't do this, since I wanted to keep some order, since there is a boss before you can enter the Safari Zone.
Rillaboom gets Fake Out, who I paired a bit with Mienshao, since this move is very good in Doubles. Normally Psychic Terrain blocks priority, but replacing it gets rid of that issue entirely. That said, I thought it would have been Indeedee-F that would have Trick Room, but it wasn't the case. However I did do a decent enough job at playing around it. If you can't play around her Trick Room threats though, or the terrain, the Iron Ball item and setting your nature to Speed- and the Speed IV to 0 definitely all help.
