Pokémon Reborn: Mono Pikaclones vs. Modified Alter Pyuku (Boosted Pikaclones)
2With the release of Pokémon Reborn E19, I have decided to do my final pikaclone run with the intent of going Anna Smiles route, and completing the entire game.
Okay, so, funny story
I was once part of a league called the "Devolved League", and my niche there was pikaclones.
To accommodate for the "lackluster" pokémon, they were all given a BST of 600
Some were also given unique abilities
And some got unique moves.
Emolga got Aerilate, Dedenne got Pixilate.
They both got espeed, Emolga got SD, Dedenne got Boomburst
Pachi got unaware
Those were dark times.
The stats looked like this:
Pikachu -
85/125/70/130/70/120 = 600
Abilities: Static, Lightning Rod (The modder for this video gave it mold breaker)
Plusle -
95/50/90/145/105/125 = 610 (calculation error that was never fixed)
Abilities: Plus, Lightning Rod
New Moves:
- Flamethrower
- Taunt
Minun -
115/40/90/115/115/115 = 590 (calculation error that was never fixed)
Abilities: Minus, Volt Absorb
New Moves:
- Frost Breath
- Taunt
Pachirisu
120/60/140/45/140/95 = 600
Abilities: Volt Absorb, Unaware (changed to poison heal to be more relevant)
New Moves:
- Taunt
- Knock Off
Emolga -
75/115/80/115/80/135 = 600
Abilities: Motor Drive, Aerilate
New Moves:

- Sucker Punch
- Swords Dance
Dedenne -
97/77/97/121/97/121 = 610 (error that was never adjusted)
Abilities: Cheek Pouch, Plus, Pixilate

- Dazzling Gleam

Togedemaru
95/128/113/55/93/116 = 600
Abilities: Iron Barbs, Lightning Rod, Sturdy
New Moves:
- Drill Run
- Magnet Bomb
- Rapid Spin

I got the idea to battle these things as a bow on the top for the pikaclone run.. so I did. I got help adding them to the game, and the concept of the battle stayed the same. Everything is pulse 2, they copy my natures, they copy my levels, and they copy my pokémon brought.. but they do not copy my items, abilities, or moves. Their moves have been set, so Dedenne, for example, only has pixilate boomburst, and is holding choice specs, while Plusle holds a mental herb to prevent me from encoring it.
I modified the ability of Pachirisu to be poison heal, so as to make it more relevant against me and so as to not *just* toxic stall it.
This was very fun to do, and a lot of effort was put into it. In hindsight, they shouldn't have copied my natures, since I did exploit that fact to give them hindering natures at times, but the gimmick of the battle stayed the same, and I love it for it.
The game has been modified to display an attempt counter in the top right section of the battle, and it is togglable. The sing counter displays sings that have successfully hit out of total sings used, serving as a form of entertainment since the sing usage will likely become insane later on in the game.
