Reddit user MrSquishyYT has recreated the entire Pokemon Red game in Minecraft. Not as a Minecraft map exactly but, using command blocks and presumably dark magics, he has recreated the actual game as if you were playing it on the gameboy.

It's insane and it's worth seeing the vast array of command blocks and more that were used to make it if nothing else.
