Now that H'aanit and her friends have thwarted the crisis in the Great Crater of Paldea, our Heroes have been tasked with setting up a school wide tournament at Nemona's and Geeta's request. H'aanit will have the responsibility of inspecting the eight Gym Leaders across Paldea to see if they are still worthy tests for up-and-coming trainers. However, H'aanit will now have to catch up on all of the school she has missed during her adventure.

Our heroes continue their history class with Ms. Raifort and learn of the four cursed treasures sealed away in Shrines in the four corners of Paldea. These Shrines are rumored to house a Pokémon of mass destruction and are called Grasswither, Icerend, Groundblight, and Firescourge. Before investigating these shrines, H'aanit must first continue her inspections of the gyms around Paldea. Next on her list is Iono and her Electric Type Gym in Levincia.
