In this part, we go through Route 1 and explore Wedgehurst Town and get our Pokedex from the Professor's Assistant, Sonia. We also "learn" how to catch pokemon and get all of the pokemon available on Route 1. Keep an eye out for rustling grass encounters, as they may have different pokemon than the ones that appear in the overworld.
