In this part, we go through Route 2 to meet with Professor Magnolia and persuade Leon for giving us an endorsement for the Pokemon Gym Challenge.

Route 2 offers an even greater variety of pokemon! ...I wish we still had the GTS.

New Pokemon:
- Route 2: Yamper, Chewtle, Zigzagoon
- Route 2 (Ambush): Lotad*, Purrloin
- Route 2 (Fishing): Magikarp, Arrokuda
- Wild Area Stop: Pikachu*
- Evolutions: Dottler, Metapod, Butterfree
*Lotad is a Shield exclusive, while Sword players get Seedot instead.
*Pikachu is a gift for having save data of Let's Go! Pikachu. I'll show you how to get a regular Pikachu later.
