Pokemon Showdown Battles Part 3
Pokemon is a competitive game. It's not at all the child's play that it appears to be. There are countless ways to customize your team, and while originality and innovation is admirable, it's not something you'll often see in online competitive battling. This is because Pokemon have been labeled and divided into different tiers according to most used, most useful, strongest, weakest, and virtually unusable. While high base stats are important, it's a Pokemon's ability that matters in most cases. This is why you'll see teams that consist of the same Pokemon back-to-back, with nearly the same moveset and EV distribution every time. While this can get annoying, depending on what you typically square off against, it does grant you an opportunity to heighten your prediction skills and get better, which is exactly what I intend to do with my low tier, functionally inferior teams. Who doesn't love a challenge? Every now and then you'll come across a team that you absolutely cannot break. In this video I demonstrate a few innovative ways that you can deal with such teams.
