No one knows what happened to the trainer. His mother waits patiently for his return, his rival yearns for another battle, and his friends wish to see him again. However no matter how long they waited he never returned. Three years later a young man much like that trainer climbed to the top of Mt.Silver. There he saw a figure veiled by the thick blizzard. He moved closer to it. The figure turned and stared wordlessly at the boy. A yellow mouse approached from behind the figure. The boy sent out a green giraffe. Silently they watched their Pokemon battle, the strength of the bonds they nurtured guided their companions. The cries of the battle dissipated against the canyon walls. Hours later the boy emerged from Mt.Silver. He never spoke of the battle on that mountain. Nor did he claim victory. He only smiled at the recollection of the battle.
