After the success of the original Pokémon games, it was no surprise we were going to get more of it. In 2000 it was time for the second generation of Pokémon which released under the name of Pokémon Gold & Silver. A more expanded game released later under the name of Pokémon Crystal, but I only own the Silver version of Gen II so that's what I'll be playing to cover this second generation. After catching a lot of Pokémon during Pokémon Red, it's time to catch many more in a whole new region. Welcome to Johto everyone! This will be the next JRPG I'm playing for this channel.

Pokémon Gold & Pokémon Silver released on the Game Boy Color in 2000 as the second generation of core Pokémon games. With just slight differences between versions like the first generation, the games can be considered different versions of the same game. In this new generation we get treated to a new region to explore, new Pokémon to find, more gyms to battle and a big bunch of new game mechanics to help improve the already existing formula of Pokémon. But we are once again on a quest to become the greatest trainer of all. And since Pokémon Silver is the only game I own of the second generation of Pokémon, it will be the game I'm going to cover as a Let's Play.
