Pokémon: Silver Version - Part 17 - The New Safari
One of the most tedious side-quest from the first generation was the Safari Zone (and I know I started the description of the previous episode this way too 🤣). The Game Corner was tedious, but so was the Safari Zone. Even that they brought back in this game, but I must admit in a much much better way. With the ability to actually bring a Pokémon with you this time around (even though it's only one), it makes a world of difference. But one thing does not change, there are still unique Pokémon to be found here. But since it's a lot less tedious, I might actually go for all of them this time around. Let's prepare to see this place more often then...
Pokémon Gold & Pokémon Silver released on the Game Boy Color in 2000 as the second generation of core Pokémon games. With just slight differences between versions like the first generation, the games can be considered different versions of the same game. In this new generation we get treated to a new region to explore, new Pokémon to find, more gyms to battle and a big bunch of new game mechanics to help improve the already existing formula of Pokémon. But we are once again on a quest to become the greatest trainer of all. And since Pokémon Silver is the only game I own of the second generation of Pokémon, it will be the game I'm going to cover as a Let's Play.
