Pokemon Snap | PART 1 - Walkthrough Gameplay | Nintendo 64
Pokémon Snap is a first-person rail shooter and simulation video game co-developed by HAL Laboratory and Pax Softnica and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64 in 1999. The gameplay is played from the perspective of protagonist Todd Snap as he helps Professor Oak with his research on Pokémon Island. The objective of the game is to take pictures of Pokémon to fill Professor Oak’s PKMN report.
After each round, players are judged based on the quality of their photos.
There are 6 locations to take pictures in with 1 secret location that can only be unlocked by finding the secret Pokémon signs in each course. There are 63 different species of Pokémon that can be photographed and the closer and rarer the photo, the higher points you will score. There are items that can be gained the further you progress in the game such as apples, “pester balls” and a Poké Flute, which are designed to help you achieve better shots. Each course can be replayed as often as you’d like to help achieve that ideal Pokémon Snap.
