Pokemon Soul Silver Walkthrough Part 94 - Pokémon Trainer Red (Part 1)
I had to split this battle into 2 parts because of YouTube's 15 minute time limit. Anyway, Red is at the top of Mt Silver. He is insanely powerful compared to Blue or Lance, but he isn't too hard if you grind to level 70.

Strategy:
Red combines the Hail at the peak with the fact that 3 of his Pokémon know Blizzard; however, if you use something like Sunny Day or Rain Dance, the Hail will be overwritten.
Pikachu - With the Light Ball, it has base 110 Attack and base 100 Special Attack. That combined with its level (88) means that it can destroy pretty much anything.
Lapras - While it is his lowest level Pokémon, it is incredibly powerful. Psychic counters Fighting types, STAB Blizzard counters Grass types, STAB Brine counters Rock types, leaving it with only one particularly large weakness: Electric.
Snorlax - It's slow, but it's powerful and bulky, but its Special Attack is low enough that Shadow Ball and Blizzard shouldn't do too much.
Charizard - And so we move on to the Kanto starter Pokémon. Charizard is fast and powerful, but its Defenses aren't great. Its base stats are exactly the same as Typhlosion's.
Blastoise - The opposite of Charizard: It's not as fast (but still decently fast, despite being a Turtle) and has nice Defense stats and HP.
Venusaur - The last Pokémon: Do you remember those annoying Grass types that always used Spores and Powders on you? Well, this Venusaur is one of them.
