This battle can prove to be challenging, the CPU has four Water-type Pokémon, while I have four Pokémon that have a weakness to Water-type moves, but I do have the Grass-type Vileplume to take on some of the Water-types on the CPU team.
Geodude was the lead for this battle, while the CPU went with Cleffa, one of the few opponents on the CPU team that Geodude can take on, the same could be said for Golem, but I don't see both of them being good throughout the entire battle.
The Fire-types on the team are there to fight Skarmory, but I do have Charmander's Sunny Day to weaken the damage from Water-type moves, and one of my main Pokémon for this battle is Politoed. It has Perish Song to try and remove one Pokémon from the battle, and that can help out against Slowbro or Mantine, which are the two that Perish Song can come to use against.
Vileplume does have a good advantage in the fight, I am likely to use it against Quagsire, that way I can use Petal Dance to take it out, but there is a chance that Skarmory is the next Pokémon to come out, because from seeing the CPU in this game, they tend to send out a Pokémon that has the advantage against the Pokémon that I have out at the time, while they can send in a Water-type Pokémon if I have any Rock or Fire-type Pokémon in battle.
