Here are the team of Pokémon in this video, which was decided by the random number generator.
P1 Team: Oddish, Nidorina, Porygon2, Qwilfish, Bayleef, Sneasel
CPU Team: Bellsprout, Grimer, Jumpluff, Pidgeot, Meowth, Sudowoodo

Then, I will list the moves for each Pokémon in battle, starting with my team.
Oddish: Giga Drain, Sludge Bomb, Moonlight, Stun Spore
Nidorina: Strength, Bite, Blizzard, Toxic
Porygon2: Swift, Zap Cannon, Thief, Conversion
Qwilfish: Sludge Bomb, Hydro Pump, Pin Missile, Minimize
Bayleef: Razor Leaf, Body Slam, Safeguard, Synthesis
Sneasel: Ice Punch, Beat Up, Slash, Screech

The CPU's team of Pokémon and moves.
Bellsprout: Giga Drain, Sludge Bomb, Toxic, Growth
Grimer: Sludge Bomb, Frustration, Toxic, Screech
Jumpluff: Mega Drain, Headbutt, Stun Spore, Leech Seed
Pidgeot: Fly, Swift, Steel Wing, Whirlwind
Meowth: Slash, Faint Attack, Shadow Ball, Screech
Sudowoodo: Rock Slide, Dig, Strength, Mimic

With the teams we both have, there are a lot of Grass and Poison-type Pokémon on both sides, and the CPU has two Normal-type Pokémon, one of which being part Flying-type, and this is the first appearance of Sudowoodo in the Free Battle videos, which means every single Generation 2 Pokémon has made an appearance in the Pokémon Stadium 2 Free Battle videos, well the ones that can be selected as Rental Pokémon.
I lead with Oddish, and the CPU went with Pidgeot, and as I could not keep Oddish in as Pidgeot was likely to use Fly, I went with Nidorina, as not only did I have Blizzard for super effective damage, but I can use Toxic to inflict poison onto Pidgeot.
I do have many options for Sudowoodo, the two Grass-type that I have, Oddish and Bayleef, are the options I have to take on Sudowoodo, I do have Qwilfish's Hydro Pump, but I don't like having to rely on the low accuracy, and there aren't many other opponents I need the Grass-types for, other than Meowth as the rest of the Pokémon take less damage from Grass-type moves. As Sudowoodo does have Dig, I can switch Bayleef in to take the attack, and then use Razor Leaf to take Sudowoodo out.
I do have Sneasel to fight Jumpluff, and I have Porygon2 for the rest of the team, Sneasel can finish off weakened opponents with its high Speed, and its Ice Punch can also help against Bellsprout. I do have some backup Pokémon to fight Jumpluff, as I have Oddish and Qwilfish which have Sludge Bomb, they are there if ever Sneasel does go down before then.
