Pokémon Stadium 2 - Part 1 - Introduction + Pokémon Lab
4It took long enough I guess 😅, but finally here is the 'continuation' of the Pokémon Silver project. Just like with the first generation op Game Boy Pokémon games, the second generation also received a stadium type game on the Nintendo 64 where we can use the Pokémon from those games. It was quite difficult (and mostly time consuming as well 😝) to get my Pokémon from Pokémon Silver ready for this game so I needed a bit of time before I was ready to go. And even then I cheated a bit in order to cut some corners by using a large number of Pokémon from earlier save files if I need to be honest 😋. But in the end they are still my Pokémon with the same names and also levels for the most part. Let's enjoy the next installment of stadium Pokémon at least shall we? Time for the stadium's second generation!
Pokémon Stadium 2 is the successor to the staple 3D battle rendition that was introduced a few years before to honor Pokémon Red, Blue & Yellow. Just like with this first game, the Pokémon battles are brought to the era of 3D and this time is compatible with the second generation of games Pokémon Gold & Silver. The Nintendo 64 makes it possible to pull these famous Pokémon battles into action-packed 3D battles and even go a step beyond the first Stadium game by adding all of the mechanics that the second generation introduced in the GBC games. Making it an even more epic Pokémon experience than the previous installment. The N64 Transfer Pak returns in full glory so you can use the Pokémon from the second gen Game Boy games in this N64 game as well. And since the first gen of Pokémon games is also still compatible with this second game, the way you can combine your own Pokémon while going through the tournaments of this game give endless possibilities! The 3D tournaments continue here in Pokémon Stadium 2!
