The generation 8 Pokemon games have been revealed as Pokemon Sword and Shield. The names for the games are probably less creative than I would have liked, but the games so far show Game Freak making a step forward in their game development from the 3DS to the Nintendo Switch. Visually the game looks better than anything Game Freak has done in the past, however anyone looking for a massive jump forward will probably be disappointed. There is still a lot of information left to be revealed before we can make a final determination.
