The Pokemon Trading Card Game appeared on store shelves in North America during the late 90s, quickly becoming another key cog in the mighty Pokemon machine. The game has evolved a lot of the years, although I will always love the simple yet exciting game that the Pokemon TCG was during its inception.

In this video I share memories of those early days, what it was like to be a fan of Pokemon and its card game when they landed in the West, and talk about how fun it used to be to head down to the Pokemon League card club on Saturday mornings and trade, collect, and battle my way to the top!
