Pokémon Unite - Initial Impressions, Breakdown & Concerns
1What did you miss from the Pokemon Presents today? What was the "big" announcement? Uh... Let's talk about Pokemon Unite. Literally, that's it. Just Unite.
Pokemon Unite is a MOBA-esk release by Pokemon, created by Tencent, which is about how much the game appears to be worth. While the gameplay looks and feels dynamic and interesting, the fact that we were led to believe something bigger was coming has left a bad taste in the mouth of many. With some qurky mechanics but a seemingly mysterious "start-for-free" payment option, this could be one of the weird approaches to a Pokemon game for a while. What is good, nonetheless, is the fact that it's a cross platform game, being released to Switch, Android and iOS
