Here is the first event of Pokémon UNITE, this is the Halloween Festival, which included new Holowear for Pokémon like Lucario and Zeraora, and you can collect pumpkins to exchange for various items. They added a new stage for Quick Play, which is Mer Stadium at Halloween, and the only Battle Item you would have are Pumpkins, I will go more into detail later in the description, and they added a new Pokémon in the update, and out of all the Pokémon they would pick to be playable, it is Greedent, and that is who I am using in this video, I will go over the other players as well.
akitsu666 - Zeraora
louk3245 - Talonflame
Aaron13400 - Charizard

The opponent's team of Pokémon
cicim14 - Blastoise
pikateam - Charizard
Kagekowai - Sylveon
Groockey - Garchomp

I was really surprised they picked Greedent to playable in this game, I was hoping they would pick a Ghost-type, like Dusknoir, Chandelure, or Mimikyu, or because this is the Halloween Festival, we could have had Gourgeist as a playable Pokémon, but no, we got Greedent, I don't dislike Greedent as a Pokémon, I'm not a huge fan of that Pokémon. As for the weekly rotation, it is Cinderace, Garchomp, Mr. Mime, and Cramorant.
I show the Lobby, as there is a new song that plays during the Halloween event, and then to go over Greedent, it is a Defender, and it has a unique Ability called Cheek Pouch, when Greedent eats a Berry, it will restore HP in combination with the Berry's effect, and at the same time, it stashes a Berry into its tail, and it will drop a Berry if it is hit by an attack or a combination of attacks. It starts off matches as Skwovet, and its starting moves are Tackle and Defense Curl, and for its basic attack, it becomes a boosted attack every three attacks and it causes one Berry to drop. Tackle deals damage to the opposing Pokémon and reduces their movement speed for a short time, and it will consume all the Berries stashed in its tail, and the more Berries, the more the move's cooldown is reduced. Defense Curl gives Skwovet a shield for a short time, and a Berry is dropped in front of it.
At Level 5, Skwovet will evolve into Greedent and learn Stuff Cheeks or Covet, they replace Defense Curl. Stuff Cheeks has Greedent drop several Berries, which can be eaten to recover HP, and if it exceeds Greedent's Max HP, they will be converted into a shield, and if it catches sight of a Berry while using that move, its movement speed is increased for a short time. Covet has Greedent run around, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon and throwing them, and it will drop Berries while running, and if a Berry is eaten, its movement speed is increased for a short time. The more Berries it eats, the more it increases its movement speed.
At Level 7, Greedent learns Bullet Seed or Belch, which replace Tackle and can be used while Greedent is using Covet. Bullet Seed deals damage to opposing Pokémon using Berry seeds, and it decreases their movement speed for a short time, and it deals more damage the more Berries it has stashed away. Belch deals damage to opposing Pokémon in its area of effect and reduces their movement speed for a short time, and it will consume every single Berry it has stashed, the move's cooldown is reduced the more Berries it has stashed away.
Greedent's Unite Move is Berry Belly Flop, it is learned at Level 9, Greedent leaps in a designated area after eating a Berry to restore HP, and it deals damage to opposing Pokémon in the area of effect and throwing them, and Greedent eats a special Berry, allowing it to stash an unlimited amount of Berries for a short time and resetting the cooldown of all its moves.
At Level 11, Stuff Cheeks or Covet will be upgraded, Stuff Cheeks increases the number of Berries it drops from its tail, and Covet increases damage dealt and the frequency at while Berries drop. At Level 13, Bullet Seed or Belch will be upgraded, both Bullet Seed and Belch have increased damage when the move is used.
Another thing I want to go over is on Mer Stadium in Halloween, you cannot use Battle Items, instead you use Pumpkin Toss, which turns anyone into a Pumpkin for a short time, losing all their points, and it does the same damage as a basic attack, and you use Pumpkin Push to push a Pokémon turned into a Pumpkin fast. The only move used is Pumpkin Tackle, which deals no damage, but it can be used to knock back opposing Pokémon.
As with Greedent's stats, it has good Endurance and Support, and for Battle Items, I find it works well with items like Rocky Helmet, Focus Band, and Buddy Barrier as it is a Defender, it is a very tricky Pokémon to use, and there isn't much info about Greedent at the time I recorded this video, so we will learn a bit more about it soon. There was a bit of lag during this match, I find it even worse on mobile, because it prevents you from doing anything for one minute.
