After you make your way through of Area 3 of the Black Tower, you’ll battle Carlen, originally a Ranger class trainer. Bouffalant will use Wild Charge and Head Charge with the Reckless ability to do more damage but hurt itself in the process. Swanna will use Scald to burn opponents and Brave Bird for big damage while hurting itself. Scolipede will use Swords Dance to raise its Attack stat and Rock Slide to make opponents flinch. After the battle, you’ll unlock Area 4.
