AMD RX Vega may get a gaming variant, but rumor has it that the company are uncertain given the prices for HBM2. If it is released it will only be 16GB HBM2. Meanwhile, Polaris 30 has been rumored, which will be based on a 12nm process, and reportedly offer up to a 15 percent improvement thanks to this process alone; although number of compute units and other details aren't revealed as yet. Also Navi 10 will launch first in 2019 2h.
AMD also discuss their chiplet design, which is to improve the performance and flexibility of components, and allows the idea to improve performance and minimise IO bottlenecks.
