Nvidia Working on 7nm GPUs | Was Intel CEO Fired Over AMD Market Share Comments?
Today, we have an interesting report that former Intel CEO Brian Krzanich was not fired for the reason we were told - internal fraternization. Instead, he was fired for making his comments about AMD EPYC and how their server processor could take up to 20% of the server market from Intel.
On the GPU side of things, Nvidia are apparently working on a 7nm GPU as well, and they will be utilising 7nm from TSMC. It's hard to know if this will be the next gen (the 1180 / 2080) or the graphics card after that, but Paul discusses what this means for Geforce as well as AMD.
Speaking of Nvidia, a report has said that the Nintendo Switch (which uses the Nvidia Tegra X1) has contributed a significant portion towards Nvidia's FY 2018 results due to the sheer success of the hybrid console.
