In celebration of the spirit of World Cup, I thought it would be a nice thing to start a series of sport related gameplays. And I'll be honest with you guys, I don't really play this genre very much. However, I had a good start with Pet Soccer, a small little game designed by Techland.
Pet Soccer is a cute football romp, has basic mechanics suited for children and not only, witty animal teams with colourful puns for names, and pleasant graphics. Although the visuals lack options, like widescreen resolutions (which can be understandable for 2003, the year it was released), the game makes up for it in other places, like the option to change the camera view, or the local multiplayer and championship modes. And it comes with a funny parrot. Unfortunately, my copy of the game was one attached to a box of cereals, so I guess that is why the parrot had to be cut of his hilarious commentaries.
