Ever since I first got my hands on the NES version of Tetris I have loved it's particular style of tile-matching puzzle game.

I'm admittedly not one for puzzle games and don't much like the iterations of Tetris-like games that have Vs modes or add "combat" to them.

I like the traditional, simple style of drop the blocks, make them disappear.

Tetris Effect appears to be just that.

Sure they added VR but I can't test that out so frankly that doesn't matter to me.

What I wanted from this demo was good old fashioned block dropping and I got it.
