The Outer Worlds is also brought to us by the folks at Obsidian.
And it shows.
The Outer Worlds is a sci-fi RPG set in a distant solar system far away from Earth. The player is more or less immediately dropped onto a world ran by a soulless mega-corporation like all good dystopian fiction and you set out to solve the problems of a bunch of interesting characters while working your way through your own personal quest...or rather the personal quest of the scientist who pulled you out of deep, unending cryosleep.
Much like we did with Control, this Play Test is more of less the very beginning of the game as we get our feet wet in the systems of The Outer Worlds.
