Have you ever found yourself wishing you could sail the open in ocean in the early 1800s on a merchant ship destined to run afoul of...something awful resulting in the death and/or disappearance of the the entire crew?

Well that's a really weird request.

And sadly Return of the Obra Dinn is not the game to let you live that dream.

But it's pretty close because it lets you board a ship that has been lost at sea for years and using what amounts to a "magic" pocket watch you get to investigate the disappearance of the titular ship.

While it may not match your very specific dreams it is one hell of a fantastic game that has been out for a year on PC and just launched on Switch, PS4 and Xbox One.

Oh and if you haven't already seen it, it has a beautiful, simple art style that only adds to it's perfect charm.
